As a parent, you have a lot to worry about on a daily basis. As a parent, one of the most important and biggest responsibilities you have when it comes to your child is to make sure that they are eating a regular, healthy diet. As well as making sure they perform some sort of exercise on a daily basis. There's nothing more important to a child's growth than a proper diet and exercise program.

They will let you know exactly how much food and from which food groups your child should be consuming on a daily basis. Get yourself a copy of Canada's Food Guide and post it on the fridge in your condo in downtown Toronto. You need to make sure they have a balanced diet throughout the day and try to incorporate all the food groups into their meals. They might not be big fans of veggies or fruits but find something they like from those food groups and get them to eat as much of it as they can. Fruits and vegetables play a major factor in providing kids with the nutrients and vitamins they need for a healthy lifestyle. Water is their best friend. It's tasty, good for them and free. Eating right is only half the battle. Exercise is the other half of making sure your kids grow and thrive into healthy adults. Exercise doesn't have to be a chore. There are a lot of fun activities your kids can participate in that will have them not even thinking of it as exercise.
